Trabalhadores devem retornar ao trabalho amanhã
O Tribunal Superior do Trabalho (TST) decidiu determinar o fim da greve dos funcionários dos Correios e o retorno ao trabalho a partir de hoje (22). O tribunal julgou ontem a tarde o dissídio de greve dos trabalhadores da estatal, que estão parados desde 17 de agosto, diante das discussões do novo acordo coletivo. 
Por maioria de votos, os ministros da Seção de Dissídios Coletivos consideraram que a greve não foi abusiva. No entanto, haverá desconto de metade dos dias parados e o restante deverá ser compensado. Além disso, somente 20 cláusulas que estavam previstas no acordo anterior deverão prevalecer. O reajuste de 2,6% previsto em uma das cláusulas foi mantido.
Segundo a Federação Nacional dos Trabalhadores em Empresas dos Correios e Similares (Fentect), a greve foi deflagrada em protesto contra a proposta de privatização da estatal e pela manutenção de benefícios trabalhistas. Segundo a entidade, foram retiradas 70 cláusulas de direitos em relação ao acordo anterior, como questões envolvendo adicional de risco, licença-maternidade, indenização por morte, auxílio-creche, entre outros benefícios.
Durante a audiência, os advogados dos sindicatos afirmaram que a empresa não está passando por dificuldades financeiras e que a estatal atua para retirar direitos conquistados pela categoria, inclusive os sociais, que não têm impacto financeiro.
Os representantes dos Correios no julgamento afirmaram que a manutenção das cláusulas do acordo anterior podem ter impacto negativo de R$ 294 milhões nas contas da empresa. Dessa forma, a estatal não tem como suportar essas despesas porque teve seu caixa afetado pela pandemia.
A empresa também sustentou que não pode cumprir cláusulas de acordos que expiraram, sob forma de “conquista histórica” da categoria.
